MORE VALUE FOR YOU

Reimbursement dollars have increased and now align with the time and resources taken to support fat grafting in breast reconstruction.

Fat grafting to the breast has now moved from a flat rate to a volume-based reimbursement scale.  Under these new guidelines, the more fat transferred to the breast, the more physician reimbursement.

CPT Codes for fat grafting in breast reconstruction has been updated to:

15772 Each additional 50cc injectate, or part thereof (list separately, in addition to code for primary procedure); [Use 15772 in conjunction with 15771]

These new codes can be billed in addition to all other procedural codes used in breast reconstruction.
